How did you know R&Q was the right next step for you and your career?
What appealed to me about R&Q was the people I interviewed with and the opportunities here. I could tell there was a strong value on women and diversity. I wanted a challenge, but a place where I could be my authentic self. I’ve definitely grown in my time here, both personally and professionally.

 

What’s your experience been like working at R&Q?
It’s been challenging in a good way – in some ways I expected, and in other ways I didn’t. R&Q has forced me to grow and be solution-oriented and ask: what resources do I need? What people do I need to partner with? My time here has also forced me to strategize, and has allowed me to step further out of my shell. It’s cemented that all challenges are opportunities.

 

How would you know if someone will be a good fit here?
Someone who’s open minded, embraces challenges and doesn’t see them as hurdles, who’s able to pivot when needed, someone who has the grind to learn…the kind of person who takes initiative would thrive here.

 

What are you like to work with and for?
I love developing people and seeing them succeed. I want to take the learnings I’ve had and pass them on to others so they can learn from my experiences - and even my mistakes. When I see others smile and accomplish something they’ve wanted to achieve, it’s amazing.

What brings you to life outside work?
Movies, going to the beach, a good winery, and I’m a foodie at heart.
